The Trofeu Taronja curtain-raiser saw Valencia CF come away with their maiden preseason win amidst a 5-goal thriller.
Valencia CF hosted Eintracht Frankfurt at the Trofeu Taronja on Saturday, 10th of August, at 9 p.m. (CET) at Mestalla, in their curtain-raiser before their season opener next Saturday.

Alas, the joy was short-lived when Eintracht Frankfurt cancelled out Rafa Mir's opener from twelve yards out, with Omar Marmoush converting the resulting spot-kick inside seven minutes.
Hugo Duro rose highest to meet Thierry Correia's pinpoint delivery, heading Valencia CF back in front at the quarter-hour mark.

Parity was restored when Junior Dina Ebimbe made it two apiece for Eintracht Frankfurt in the latter stages of the second half.

Valencia CF will welcome FC Barcelona in their opening game of their 24-25 LaLiga season on Saturday, August 17th at 9 pm kick-off at Mestalla.
